The aim of
the tractor crane class of STEPA is to offer a compact and versatile crane for
the forestry application.

The special
design of the tractor cranes allows using them on trailers as well as mounted on
tractors. This makes the crane a multi talent.
For plain
crane operation on forestry trailers, STEPA offers the forest crane class.
Beside the
wide range of extra equipment STEPA offers the ideal crane for every
application, due to its extensive crane range. The cranes have a reach from up
to 9.1 metres and 7.5 metre tonnes of load-carrying capacity.
Explanation of the type name:
S* = pressure
derated crane for longer life span under hard applications
Working time:
standard cranes are designed for a max. working time of 2.5h/ day or max. 500h/
year.
S-Cranes are
built for heavy duty applications with more working hours. The operating
pressure of these cranes is reduced and therefore the max. working time per day
is can be increased to 4h/d or 800h/ year.
